Poland Commissions Curvy Supermodel Series From Armoza

One of Poland’s top broadcasters, Polsat, has now licensed the German finished tapes of Armoza Formats’ prime time reality competition Curvy Supermodel. The channel is slated to air the series later this year, as well as their own local adaptation that they recently commissioned.

RTLII Germany’s first season of Curvy Supermodel aired successfully at the end of 2016, performing strongly among young audiences, and the second season is set to air starting next month. The hit format has also already been acquired in six territories including Brazil and Spain.

Produced by Tresor TV, Curvy Supermodel (120’) is set to change how we define beauty, in a nationwide casting show that searches for the face of the future – with power, style and curves. Only the best will be selected out of thousands looking to find a place in the tough and discriminative modeling industry, and will confront their issues and face challenges that will prepare them for their career. An expert jury will mentor them and choose who has what it takes to continue to the next episode. We’ll accompany them on their inspiring journeys, and while all will defy society’s stereotype, only one will win the title and the modeling contract.

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, “Polsat has a strong vision for this format and we are thrilled to continue to work with them on the local adaptation as well as with the German finished tapes. The compelling message that ‘Curvy Supermodel’ conveys about challenging stereotypes is what makes it so relatable and has inspired positive responses from the industry and the viewers.”
