2 New European Commissions For Armoza Dramas

Armoza Formats has announced two new commissions from their scripted catalogue, with psychological thriller Vertige having been licensed in Spain and action-packed police drama Street Justice commissioned in Ukraine.

The award-winning mini-series Vertige, originally aired on Canada’s TVA and Series+, has now been licensed by Spanish media group Euskal Irrati Telebista (EITB), who have taken the finished tapes for their ETB network.

Additionally, the ready-mades of all three seasons of the highly acclaimed Israeli crime drama Street Justice have been commissioned by Ukrainian broadcaster 2+2, a 1+1 Media Group-owned channel. The finished series was also most recently aired on Brazil’s Globosat as part of a special focus on Israel.

Produced by Pixcom, Vertige (6 x 60’) follows the story of a young woman who awakens after 3 months in a coma with no memory of what happened during the 24 hours prior to her alleged suicide attempt. Refusing to believe that she tried to take her own life, she tries to piece together what really happened and realizes she can trust no one, not even her closest family. While reconstructing the puzzle, she'll discover secrets, lies and the unspeakable truth locked deep in her memory. As every new piece of the puzzle is revealed, we discover another layer of the story, in an intense, unpredictable and edge-of-your-seat psychological thriller.

Street Justice (60’) blurs the lines between legality and justice in a series packed with non-stop action, explosive stunts, gun fights, gritty crimes, car chases, dangerous romance and more. Developed by Artza Productions, the series stars a hot-headed police detective who doesn't have the patience to wait for criminals to make mistakes before taking the law into his own hands. He will clean up the streets, and if he has to cut some corners, he'll do it without thinking twice.

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, “We are thrilled to be bringing these incredible dramas to new territories. Both ’Vertige’ and ‘Street Justice’ are full of suspense, intrigue and betrayal, providing them with a strong pull and fascination for audiences globally.”
